Dr. Rachel Zimmerer
Fellow, Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Rachel Zimmerer grew up not far from Dallas, in the small town of Lindsay, Texas. After high school, she attended Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. Dr. Zimmerer then earned her dental degree from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, where she was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society, The Odontological Honor Society and the Dean’s Honor List.
Not quite done with school, Dr. Zimmerer then moved to North Carolina to obtain her Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. She keeps her dental skills up-to-date through the Pankey Institute for dental education and by achieving her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Zimmerer married her dental school sweetheart and they reside in East Dallas with their two small children and Australian Shepherd. She enjoys being outside in both her home garden and parks and spending time with her family.
